3. Free Tools Terms

Local Processing: All tools process your files entirely within your web browser. Your files are never uploaded to our servers.
No Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or have access to the files you process using our tools.
Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the files you process and how you use the output.
No Liability: We are not liable for any loss, damage, or harm resulting from your use of the tools.
Third-Party Libraries: Our tools use open-source libraries. We are not responsible for any issues arising from these libraries.

4. Local AI Chat Specific Terms

The Local AI Chat tool runs AI models entirely in your browser using WebGPU or Chrome's built-in AI. By using this tool, you additionally agree that:

Model Downloads: You may need to download AI models (up to several gigabytes) which are cached in your browser. These downloads are one-time and stored locally.
AI Limitations: AI models may produce inaccurate, biased, or inappropriate responses. You should verify any important information independently.
No Professional Advice: AI responses should not be considered professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.
Resource Usage: Running AI models locally requires significant computational resources and may affect your device's performance.
Third-Party Models: The AI models are provided by third parties (e.g., Meta, Microsoft, Google, Hugging Face) and are subject to their respective licenses and terms.

5. Face Blur Tool Specific Terms

The Face Blur tool uses AI-powered face detection to anonymize photos. By using this tool, you acknowledge that:

Model Downloads: The face detection model (~5MB) is downloaded from Google's servers on first use and cached locally. Your IP address is visible to Google during this download.
Detection Accuracy: Face detection may not identify all faces or may occasionally detect non-faces. You should verify results before sharing processed images.
Metadata Removal: Exported images have EXIF metadata stripped. Original files are not modified.
Your Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process and share photos of individuals.

6. Encryption Tool Specific Terms

The File Encryptor tool uses AES-256-GCM encryption. By using this tool, you acknowledge that:

Password Responsibility: You are solely responsible for remembering your encryption password. We cannot recover encrypted files if you lose your password.
No Key Recovery: We do not store your encryption keys or passwords. Lost passwords mean permanently lost access to encrypted files.
Legal Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring your use of encryption complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

7. Internet Speedtest Specific Terms

The Internet Speedtest tool measures your connection speed using third-party CDN services. By using this tool, you acknowledge that:

Third-Party Servers: Speed tests require downloading data from Cloudflare's CDN. Your IP address will be visible to Cloudflare during tests.
Accuracy: Results may vary based on network conditions, time of day, CDN server location, and other factors. Results are estimates and should not be considered definitive measurements.
No Upload Test: To maintain privacy, we do not provide true upload testing. The "processing speed" metric measures local device capability only.
Local Storage: Test history is stored in your browser's localStorage. Clearing browser data will remove this history.

8. Privacy Check Specific Terms

The Privacy Check tool analyzes your browser's fingerprint and privacy settings. By using this tool, you acknowledge that:

100% Local Analysis: All fingerprinting tests run entirely in your browser. No data is collected, stored, or transmitted to any server.
Educational Purpose: This tool is for educational purposes to help you understand browser fingerprinting. Results show what information websites could potentially collect.
No Guarantees: The uniqueness score is an estimate based on common fingerprinting techniques. Actual tracking capabilities vary by website.
Browser Differences: Results may vary significantly between browsers, browser versions, and privacy settings.

9. SCORM/xAPI Inspector Specific Terms

The SCORM/xAPI Inspector tool analyzes and previews eLearning packages. By using this tool, you acknowledge that:

100% Local Processing: All package extraction, analysis, and preview happens entirely in your browser. Your packages are never uploaded to any server.
Content Execution: When you preview SCORM content, the package's JavaScript code runs in a sandboxed iframe within your browser. Only upload packages from sources you trust.
API Simulation: The tool provides a simulated SCORM/xAPI runtime environment for testing purposes. It does not connect to any real Learning Management System (LMS) or Learning Record Store (LRS).
No Data Persistence: Quiz responses, scores, and other SCORM data are stored only in browser memory during your session. Closing the tab clears all data.
Your Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to analyze and preview any eLearning packages you upload.
Accuracy Limitations: The simulated runtime may not behave identically to all LMS implementations. Use this tool for inspection and testing, not as a definitive compliance check.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our Website or tools to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Process files containing illegal content
Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or derive source code from our tools (except as permitted by open-source licenses)
Interfere with or disrupt the Website or its services
Use automated systems to access the Website in a manner that exceeds reasonable use

11. Intellectual Property

The Website content, design, and branding are owned by Caring Consulting Co. Our tools incorporate open-source libraries which retain their respective licenses. You retain ownership of any files you process using our tools.

THE WEBSITE AND ALL TOOLS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

UNINTERRUPTED or ERROR-FREE operation

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CARING CONSULTING CO. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Loss of data or files
Loss of profits or revenue
Business interruption
Damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content
Damages from lost or forgotten encryption passwords

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED $100 USD.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Caring Consulting Co., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Website or tools, or your violation of these Terms.
